A quiet emergence from the depths, ‘The rising’ captures the delicate strength of moving upward through uncertainty. Like a jellyfish carried by unseen currents, this piece, I wanted to speak of surrender, trust, and the beauty of becoming. Soft light drifts around the luminous forms, reminding us that even in the most fluid, shifting spaces, we are still guided toward the light.
This piece was painted in front of a live audience at the official opening of Creative Soul Studios new gallery in Henley beach, South Australia, finished in my home studio 2 days later.
