The rich red, unique shape, clusters, delicate yet striking purple/black eye of the Sturt’s Desert Peas still fascinates me.  A rare find in our neighborhood yet more common view out the car window on family travels, this little piece came to me some time ago in a vivid dream. 
Maybe a childhood memory or push to travel more, who knows, regardless, it was a calling to share.
Painted in acrylic on quality canvas board, mounted onto a quality oak floating frame.
