Fall and Rise Again is about resilience, surrender, and the quiet strength found in letting go. Inspired by the gentle, drifting movement of jellyfish, this work reflects the way we move through life’s currents—sometimes rising, sometimes sinking, always carried by forces both seen and unseen. The layered blues and violets speak to emotional depth and change, while touches of gold suggest moments of clarity, hope, and renewal that surface even in uncertain waters.
Like jellyfish, we are not always meant to fight the tide. There are seasons when survival is found in softness, in trusting the flow, and in allowing ourselves to be reshaped by experience rather than broken by it. This painting honours the cycles of falling and rising that define the human journey—the pauses, the struggles, the gentle returns to light. It is a reminder that even in drift, there is direction, and even in surrender, there is strength.
