“Alchemy of Wings” celebrates the delicate yet powerful magic woven by bees within our natural world. This piece is an ode to the unseen transformations that unfold with each beat of a bee’s wing — from flower to hive, pollen to honey, bloom to seed. Through layers of soft pastels, golden highlights, and abstract honeycomb patterns, I wanted to capture the fragile beauty and quiet strength of these tiny alchemists. The layers, textures and splashes of colour evoke the wild gardens they nourish and the vital balance they maintain for us all. With this work, I hope to remind viewers that within the smallest creatures lies a profound force for renewal and wonder — an alchemy that connects us all to nature’s intricate dance.”
