Welcome to my world of colour and inspiration! I'm Greer Tappert, a full time Artist living on the Semaphore coastline in South Australia. I grew up in the Adelaide foothills in Tea Tree Gully. My creative inspiration comes from many forms including nature, flora and fauna, our beautiful ocean, bold and bright colours, and emotions. My work tells my story and gives you an insight into how I see the world; I've been told my work has a healing energy, it's uplifting and inspiring.

 

Acrylic is my favourite medium however I'm always experimenting with different mediums and integrating various techniques, creating multiple layers whilst I tune into my own emotions and energy. This is my unique recipe. 

 

My style is mixed; expressionistic, abstract, with elements of realism - it's how I view the world. I work small and large scale; on paper, canvas, wine barrels, wall murals and more. And recently together with my collaboration partner Danielle Hueppauff, we have launched our Art n Leather range - creating truly unique, one off pieces. Some of the sale proceeds contribute to my fund raising for the The Hospital Research Foundation Group as an Ambassador for the Longest Table.

 

You will also find my work on cards and as prints, and when I'm not working on commissions or sending my work to collectors around the world, I'm creating new pieces to hang in my (multiple) venues, running my business and being Mum.

I also run workshops for small and larger groups, private and corporates, where you can explore my unique techniques for yourself. I love what I do and sharing it with the world to make it just that little bit better.
