Welcome to my world of colour, nature and storytelling.

I'm Greer Tappert, a full-time artist based on the Semaphore coastline in South Australia. Inspired by the beauty of nature, birds, flora, the ocean, bold colour and human emotion, I create expressive works that capture both the energy of the natural world and the stories that connect us. Collectors often describe my art as uplifting, calming and filled with positive energy.

Working primarily in acrylic, I combine layers, movement and mixed-media techniques to create pieces that sit between abstraction, expressionism and realism. My work has been exhibited across Adelaide, nine SALA Festivals, earned the Merit Award at the Mark Butler Art Prize, and found homes with collectors across Australia and around the world including the US, Canada, UK, Germany, England and Asia.

Beyond the studio, I facilitate creative workshops for community groups, schools and corporate teams, using art to inspire connection, confidence and wellbeing. I am also proud to support cancer research through my fundraising and ambassador work with The Hospital Research Foundation Group.

My artwork extends beyond just the canvas, onto cards, hand-embellished prints, wall murals and unique collaborations, as well as artistic repair work on natural stone and concrete (Greer can do that). Whether I'm creating for an exhibition, commission, workshop or collector, my goal is simple—to bring more beauty, joy and meaning into the world through art, whilst inspiring those curious, to pick up a brush and give it a go.
